Well, it depends . . . hedgehogs are animals that require a little extra time and effort. If you're a primarily nocturnal person who doesn't mind ordering supplies off the internet and is willing to pay more than you'd expect for such a little critter, then a hedgehog may be worth looking into.
The International Hedgehog Association has a lot of info on their site . . . I'd find the url, but as I'm currently carrying a hedgehog, it's a little difficult.

Do they drink beer?
Is an there an association, such as the International Hedgehog Association (I'm making this up) which happens to deal with all things hedgehogy?
Are they expensive to look after?
And would you say hedgehogs are for nocturnal people? Diurnal? Hexagonal?
How long can we annoy you with hedgehog questions before you yell and hit us with heavy objects?
PS: We just like to post and annoy you.

Andalite: He made a sniffing noise and kind of bounced in this funny pouch-like thing I can wear him around in. Admittedly, that was what he was doing anyway, but you know . . . it could have some kind of sleeper effect on him.
LB: I already answered all those questions, except the one about the beer.
Yes, I expect that if you offered a hedgehog beer, it would try drinking it. It wouldn't be a very nice thing to do, but I bet a drunk hedgehog would be pretty funny.
ASO: I have one of those ergonomic keyboards that has the left and right halves split off from each other. He's got to go on one half or another. Actually, I believe I usually put him on the right half (the 7 is on the right half of my keyboard). I probably do this because I am a right-handed person.

Ophelia will you please make a small little hat with the text "Mayor" on it and then make a small chair and desk and put Indiana the Hedgehog in the chair and put the hat on him and take a photo and put on the photo text that says "Indiana The Hedgehog is Mayor of Hedgehogs!"

The capslock is on the left side, so he must have left the m key, walked AROUND the keyboard to press the capslock and then walked back around and onto the M key without touching the space bar. Either that or he stood on the shift key and pressed the other keys with his paws.
