LB: In my experience, hedgehogs always physically triumph over cats, because cats do not like to get their noses poked if they get too close. The cats usually have the moral victory, though, since rolling up into a ball and making sniffing sounds is not a very heroic way to deal with conflict.

ASO: If I want a longer sample of "writing" from him, I need to move him around. He actually doesn't like the keyboard very much, and if it were up to him, he'd scrunch himself up in one position for as long as possible. And just for the record, I am currently kind of slow-dancing with him to "Everything I Do (I Do It For You) by Bryan Adams.

My daughter use to dance with Qui-Gn the guinea pig to Over The Hill and Far away by John Tams. Now every time I hear that song I tear up.

Flare: At four years? Yes, actually. If I'd lived with a man for four years, I'd either be married by now, or complaining loudly about it. Especially if he'd never had a job and I was paying all the bills.
Leona: You're a wise woman. Why else do we get pets, except to exchange strange cross-species bonds of friendship? So Indy happens to be a sensitive guy who likes dancing in the living room to Bryan Adams. And he's a hedgehog. So sue him. Me. Us. He's getting up there in hedgehog years. I should indeed enjoy him while I can.
Also, I am now wondering exactly how many people dance with small animals named after LucasFilm characters.
