Ophelia do you ever worry Indiana the Hedgehog will transform into a large, yellow, irate lizard beast and try to attack you?

Flare: Yes, actually. I give him a bath about every other week or so. He loves it. I've actually given him a bath at the vet's so he'll stop freaking out and let her look at him. Old toothbrushes make very good hedgehog-scrubbers. tongue

sj and Andalite: I do not have cable TV. I watch it so seldom that it doesn't seem worth the money. sad

OZK: Indiana's answer was silence. Perhaps the wisest answer of all.

Whitey: I got 10 of the 16 things OZK mentioned. The rest I'll have to hit Wikipedia about later. tongue

OZK: I got 2 out of 3 of those acronyms. Indiana's answer was again a wise silence, except for the occasional sniffy sort of noise. I take it to mean a reference to Truths that are beyond our power to understand or express. Perhaps he is a Zen hedgehog. I'd ask, but I think I can predict the answer.

Andalite again: Umm . . . I'll get back to you on that one.

sj again: Sure. I'd only bring one piece of paper, though. He's pretty succinct.

Andalite again again: That's a good question. I was actually thinking of creating an iTunes playlist just for him. Off the top of my head, I can only think of Bryan Adams and a song called "Song For Judy And Bridget" though. I can tell you the type of song he likes . . . quiet, a bit repetitious with the melody and rhythm, and with a beat at about heartbeat-speed. Fetuses are supposed to like about the same thing.

Maybe I should get him one of those Baby Mozart CD's. tongue

Flare again: He does not like to type, and he replies to all questions with silence or unintelligible noises, so it's hard to tell. Perhaps he's not a Zen hedgehog at all, but rather a Diogenes-like philosopher, who does not wish to be bothered by the World's distractions.

Andalite again again again: I have never thought of this before.

But now that you have put the image in my brain, it will haunt me forever, creeping even into the spaces between dreams, so that I will never know true peace again.

THANK YOU. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. >.<

Ophelia, you are the epitome of lunacy. Arrested Development is on Hulu, and Hulu is a website with free access to television shows, NOT a tv station!

Arrested Development is one of the greatest sitcoms ever created. I predict with 98% certainty you would like this show, as would Indiana the Hedgehog. All you do is go to Hulu.com, type in Arrested Development, and click on the first episode! Then you go like "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, the good comedy!!!"

That's an awful round-about way of saying "Yes Scummy, you're right about Indiana being an atheist."

Ha! Do you put him under the faucet or in a bath-like sink? He likes it that much that the vet will look at him? Thats really cute.

I wish someone would rub me with a toothbrush, that sounds like it would feel awesome.

(I just gave my dog a bath, bathroom destroyed, I'm scratched to hell, and now I have a lot laundry to do. Made me think of this thread)

You're all quite mad, you know. tongue

The_Face: Hedgehogs are not ruminants, they are insectivores. Their closest relatives are the moles. Therefore, one stomach per hedgehog.

FlareStorm: That's a rather personal question isn't it?!

Actually, it is a virtual certainty that he is. He was separated from his mother and siblings before he hit hedgehog-puberty, and he has not met up with any lady hedgehogs since then. Or guy hedgehogs. Or any hedgehogs, really.

That he's admitted to, anyway.

FlareStorm again: Yes, I do rinse him off by holding him under a faucet. Since he's so fussy in most circumstances, you'd think he'd hate it, but he doesn't. He doesn't like the water getting in his face, but he's fine with it pouring all over his back. I don't think I'd mind an enormous warm waterfall, either. tongue

Andalite-Bandit: Oh. blush Well, I will have to look into that, then.

And of course I'm the epitome of lunacy!

Re assorted accusations: BAH!
