You're implying we're not part of the "friends" bit in the thread title? plain

So who will be there that weekend in London?

And who will be in Prague?

Seeing as London has pretty much organised itself, we should probably organise Prague too.

I try tongue

So what should we do in Prague? I can't really remember if I'll be there on a weekend or weekdays (it's been a few weeks since I've seriously looked at my trip schedule) but what would you suggest? I more partial to nighttime activities, as I'm a bit of a flake and like to sleep in on holidays tongue

First of all, we'll need some time schedule - at least rough. I assume it's going to be some time in October - it's usually still a nice weather in Prague during this time, but you never know, and it might get cold and rainy. We should prepare for both possibilities. If this was sooner, I would've suggested a picnic - but the ground may be already too cold (there's a saying that you shouldn't sit on the ground when there's an "r" in the month's name - it's generally valid in these parts of the world).

It also depends how many days we'll have. I definitely suggest some sightseeing - or, if you don't like it very much, at least a walk around the city centre. Prague has a very "walkable" centre - most of it is a pedestrian zone, and it's really enjoyable walk. We should definitely visit a couple of old pubs - some of them have a really old tradition and brew their own beer, so it would be also an experience of something new and original. We could go to the movies, if there's something decent playing. tongue

What's the best about Prague is that you don't need to plan things too far ahead. The city centre is relatively small (compared to, say, London), so you can change plans according to current situation any time and it won't take you long to move to a new place. happy

EDIT: Oh, and could someone tell Daveed that I'm not speaking to him. not_talking

If it'll be Prague, I'll totally be there! But why October? Okay, I'm not doing too much at the beginning of the academic year, but in September I'm doing nothing.

London will be an option if Prague doesn't happen, and if I have enough time and money.

If I understand it right, we'll have to fit into Pulsie's schedule... Of course, I'd prefer September myself...
