But anyways, for anyone who has seen Symphony X live post-Paradise Lost, is it true they are doing all of their old songs Paradise Lost style?

Symphony X Paradise Lost is good but I only have one other CD by them and really can't say one way or the other if it's there best or the best CD I have ever heard. All I can say is I like it.

I'm 19... I became a fan when I was like 15. I'm also a massive fan of The Dreaming now, despite their emoness which I can look past. Saw them play in 2006

I saw them play in 1996, during a day-long festival show.
1996 = 12 years ago
12 years ago = SLG is 7 years old. And probably still playing with Barbies. (Gothic Barbies mostly likely, but still...)
My God, I'm old.

I like many metal genres but my tastes are somewhat "softer":

Megaherz (now practically dead lol)
Haggard
System of a Down
Also I have a few Therion, Dimmu and COF songs in my playlist but I rarely play them so I guess they don't really count.

Hey, guys, what are your opinions of Shagrath's (Dimmu Borgir Vocalist)'s Death Growls in Kamelot's March of Mephisto?
I think it actually sets the mood quite well.
