That's the only Kamelot album I've heard. I thought it was rubbish. Shagrath's not a great vocalist, and all the digital effects he puts on his voice get rather annoying. It's bad enough in Dimmu, let alone Power Metal.

Then perhaps you'd enjoy their latest album, Ghost Opera. Its a bit lightweight in some of the songs, however.

I prefer the Galneryus brand of power metal, to be honest 
Edit: Gah. I just saw that BF2k+1 mentioned ChthoniC! I didn't think I'd ever see anyone apart from me mention them on the JC

I'm not a big fan of Kamelot but they have some pretty good stuff. The new album being one of them. 
Cobra, I thought you like Dimmu Borgir. 
I prefer their older stuff than the new things they've come up with. The revised edition of Stormbl°ast is the best example.

I don't mind Dimmu. You're reading wrong again I said the vocal effects are bad enough in Dimmu. I don't mind the music
Though For All Tid, Stormblast (original) and EDT own the newer stuff. Interestingly, For All Tid and Stormblast had Silenoz doing the vocals. Coincidence?

I actually started listening to them when you mentioned them in the Ozzfest thread from last year. Still need to get Seediq Bale, though.

Ever heard of Blind Guardian? Or Iced Earth?
If not, I would recommend those bands, power metal. Try BG's Nightfall in Middle Earth and A Night at the Opera albums and IE's Dark Saga and Horrow Show.
As for a single song, BG's Into the storm has one of the best guitar solo's I've heard.
