What is this battle pack anyway? Is it something like a Battle Metal compilation, or?  I have something similar on my computer, I think it was from Metalhammer.

Does anybody know what songs are on the Metal Hammer Battle Metal CDs? Because I plan on going on a music buying spree (Buying MP3s off of Amazon or something), and I want to use those to get some ideas for what songs to get (other than some of the stuff that I already have).

How about using Google?
Granted, you may want to change your search terms, but I'm sure it's all there.

Has anyone heard of Pirate Metal? Bands such as Running Wild (the original), Alestorm, Swashbuckle, and Verbal Deception are examples. Here's the tag page on last.fm, for anyone interested. Its a sub genre of Folk/Power Metal.

"Heaviest" is a bit of a difficult thing to fulfil. Everyone has different ideas.
For me, the heaviest things I can think of are Opeth, Hypocrisy and Akercocke. For other people, it may be different.
As for non-English... do you mean the lyrics not in English, or nationality not English?

Hi guys. I'm here because I read a review about Metallica's Death Magnetic on Time, and this guy calls it the best album of their career or something like that. I mean, really? I'm skeptical about this...
Anyway, if anyone here has already listened to Death Magnetic, I'd like to hear what you think of it.
Edit: Or maybe it's because Time sucks...I know at least one of you will say that

Opeth are awesome, so I'll definitely check out Hypocrisy. 
On the non-English thing, either is good with me.

Hypocrisy, style wise, aren't much like Opeth. They're straight-up Death Metal, and they did some weird Nu-metal stuff a few years ago.
Non-English lyrics is pretty easy.
Mandarin - Chthonic (though they re-released their stuff in English, annoyingly)
Japanese - Kinniku Shoujo-tai, Galneryus (some in Japanese, some in English), Maximum the Hormone.
Russian - Temnozor
Ukrainian - Nokturnal Mortum, Drudkh
Thought of another ridiculously heavy band. Behemoth, from Poland.
