Should I change or no? I do not smell particularily awful, I do not think.

I got through the taking off the shirt phase of changing clothes before I got distracted, so now I am merely shirtless

I think so, Brain, but where are we going to find a duck and a hose at this hour?
Amazing.

It bothers me, sometimes, this waste of lives. But I have discovered a principle whose value exceeds that of human life. What, then?

To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscover'd country from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all;
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action. - Soft you now!
The fair Ophelia! Nymph, in thy orisons
Be all my sins remember'd.

I should really shampoo the rug in front of my doorway. The carpet is beige and it's picked up every stain from last winter.
The thing is, I'm scared that my carpet washer won't work. It's kind of old and beat up, and I'll be very disappointed if it's broken.
None of this effects whether my carpet gets clean or not. I just don't want to know if my appliance is busted.

One of my cats is sleeping on my bed, like my room is a flophouse for cats. He's all curled up, his white paws tucking out from under his black body.
Cats have always liked my room. I don't know why. Sure, I got a lot of Star Wars stuff, like books, comics, and the like, but that's not why. They just love my bed. And my chair. And when I'm not using it, my computer chair.
It's silly, that's what it is.

On Lord of the Rings: I could never get behind a franchise where, in the back of my mind, I know the characters are tending to their restroom needs in a bucket.

Does it break the thread if I quote and reply? Anyways, isn't it a little derogatory to call ophelia a nymph?

So my friend Michael came ove today, and we played Super Smash Bros. Melee and then watched part of Final Destination. I had never seen the movie before, and I have to say it was rather sub-par. Granted, I missed the last twenty minutes of it, but still, I think they should have tried harder and gotten better actors and writers.

Data Boxing. Now that's a great game. You just roll three six-sided dice, check the results on simple cards, and you've got a great fight. The guy pored over every available statistic and all of the figures represent the most accurate data ever collected, from the 19th century all the way to the modern day. The beautifully simple, but deep, mechanics let you see the ebb and flow of the fight while creating the most accurate boxing simulation ever. Ali dances and controls the fight with stinging jabs and high scores. Foreman pounds you into submission early on, but fades after round 5. Marciano gets cut into tissue paper - if the fight lasts long enough. It's spectacular. Just spectacular.

Well, I bet I'm not getting my floor washed today. It's getting dark, and that carpet washer makes a ton of noise. My neighbors wouldn't appreciate me using it now.
Also, I'm still don't even know if it works.
