Welcome to the mod approved JC Snail Mail Club thread, as approved by Ophelia and JediYvette. 
This is a thread for JCers to have fun sending each other things through the post. Jinngerbread had a successful thread where she got people to send her letters and postcards, this is just an extension of that but every one can join in. A lot of users don't live near anyone else, and while the boards are good for staying in touch it's not as good as having something physical that can be touched and held, and there are those of us that just like sending and receiving things from friends.
The people who are interested in receiving things post a list of what they wouldn't mind receiving and from whome, eg 'letters and postcards from friends, postcards from everyone'. The people who want to send things send a PM asking for their address. If the person receiving things approves then addresses can be swapped via PM.
Those that want to send things other than what's listed should PM first and should be aware that the person they are PMing can say no. The sender should take no to mean no and not pester the person or react badly.
Just some rules to make sure that everyone is happy:- Don't post addresses here, it's for your own safety.
- Don't pester people for their address if they don't want to give it to you
- If you get someone's address don't post it anywhere or pass it on
- Don't send creepy stuff
- If in doubt about something then ask the person you want to send it to
- No going round to anyone's house unexpectedly
- Be nice and hHave fun
Hopefully this will work out well and there'll be lots of happy people sending each other awesome stuff through the post.

I think this is an awesome idea so despite my misgivings about making time, I will try to be a sender (I don't want anything from you weirdos).
