I got my first paycheck today!

and because I couldn't constrain myself I went to Best Buy and bought the following DVDs:
American Beauty - the guy I went on a date with recommended this movie which turned out to be a good recommendation as I greatly enjoyed the film despite missing the first fifteen minutes.
Edward Scissorhands! - it is a lovely film.
Donnie Darko - it is the director's cut, which I have not actually seen, but it's still Donnie Darko, so I don't care.
Atonement - this. is a pretty movie.
I was going to buy V for Vendetta, Psycho, Pan's Labyrinth, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but they did not have the first two (GRRRRRRRR, I've been looking for those two forever), and they only had some lame edition of Eternal Sunshine and I like the film well enough to get a collector's edition. and Pan's Labyrinth was too expensive.
I am not sure if this should be a thread discussing what you do with your money or if it should be a thread about recommending movies to people or if it should be a thread about how awesome my job is (they let me out 45 minutes early so I could get to Best Buy before it closed, and I didn't even ask them to let me go!). I think it shall be all three.

Ya where do you work at that let you out early like that.. wherever i worked it was a pain in the *** to ever get let out early.. of course the areas i worked in were pretty much locked into place.

also. I work at the grocery store Piggly Wiggly. initially I refused to even apply there with such a name, but my dad forced me and I am glad he did. for the most part.

Ya we had those at wal-mart too we called them stockmen.. You should try and become a cashier it is a lot more inside work though but the pay might be slightly better as well.. I was up to 8.75 before i quit..
