It may be a little more inconvenient, but it does serve a good purpose. Getting on an airplane after 9/11 is a little more inconvenient. So I do have to take my shoes off now. Or Lincoln suspending the Writ of Habeas Corpus. Or Woodrow Wilson signing the Sedition Act of 1918. Or Franklin Delano Roosevelt ordering the forced removal and internment of hundred of thousands of Japanese, Italian, and German Americans.
