The only microwave mishap I've had was when I put an Arby's sandwich in the microwave still sitting on the foil.  It was pretty cool though...the foil caught on fire on one corner, and had almost reached the sandwich before I stopped it.

I remember a work colleague a while back put a frozen pie in the microwave with a tin foil tray. He was that drunk he stood mesmerised looking at the pretty lights until he snapped out of it, opened the door and ate the pie!
What part of "oven cook" did he not understand?

Yeah, and everything else has been proven to cause cancer also. Seriously, why is it news anymore that something causes cancer? There so many things that can cause cancer it's ridiculous. Just accept the fact that no matter what you do, there's a chance you will get cancer.
