I will be going to work later this evening and hopefully be home shortly after midnight. I do get three days off this week instead of the usual 2. No extra pay though.

I work in fastfood, and just last monday the manager/owner decided to keep the place open today. 
I only had to work from 8 to 11 AM though. But I feel sorry for the other employees who have to work till 5.

I did not go to a book store today as I thought I would, instead I went to a restaurant to eat where they had to serve me and keep my coffee filled. Ha!

I volunteered to work today so I got holiday pay plus overtime which translates to 2 1/2 times my normal hourly pay to just sit around and do jack squat.
Enjoy your three day weekends, I'll be laughing my way to the bank.

I didn't even get paid time and a half for today. 
I do all the same things the assistant manager does, too...and yet none of the benefits including holiday pay or vacation or sick days or anything...
Game Stop sucks.
(I didn't clock out for my lunch break though! Ha! Take that, Game Stop!!)

That'd require them proving she didn't work during her normal lunch break...which they probably could do, but it would be too much of a hassle for an hour's wage.
