So, I got invited to a movie premiere...

...and I can't go because I have to work!! 
It was a red carpet invitation, too, for Jason Statham's new flick, The Bank Job, when it premieres in Australia. I'm so pissed right now.

1) Movie premieres are very fun. I got to go to the red carpet premiere of AOTC at the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC, 2002. It was awesome.

Oh wow, that would have been so amazing to go to!!  And in New York as well? Double wow!
Yeah, I'm a huge Twilight fan.  Sounds like you are, too. I'm finding the wait for the new book and movie really difficult right now.  I've just re-read all the old books to get my Twilight fix.

I'm thinking that's the way to go right now.  If I can get airline tickets & accommodation lined up (because it's in our capital city, which is the other side of the country to me, and it just happens to be winter break here as well ) then hopefully I'll be there.
Now I need to find something to wear...
