What is the ship of a thousand years?
Could we get approximate values for its overall length, length of the ship at the waterline, beam, depth, draft and tonnage?
Under what flag does it sail?
Where can I get me one?
How would it fare against the FORCEBOAT?

According to Neo-Pilgrim scripture, the "Ship of a Thousand Years" is a vessel constructed 2,024 years ago by the predecessors of modern day Neo-Pilgrims. The plans for the vessel were said to be given to The Builder by the Sky Lobster himself. It is said that the ship of a thousand years departed Earth with The Builder and his most loyal followers on a thousand year journey to a distant star. Modern scientists theorize the ship traveled at the speed of light and that their destination must have been 1000 light years from Earth and have tried to use this assumption to pinpoint the star they journeyed to. It must be noted however that nothing in Neo-Pilgrim scripture actually states the speed of the vessel, so these assumptions are misguided. It was said that those who boarded the vessel were granted immortality, and that at their destination they would find a primitive race called The Second, and it was the duty of the humans of the vessel to convert The Second to their religion and share with them the secrets of Earth. They were tasked with the duty of finding The Prophet, an individual among The Second whom was destined to travel to Earth and unite humanity against a terrible thread called The Unknown. If all of this is true, the Ship of a Thousand Years can be expected to return to Earth anytime after 2012, depending on how long it took them to identify The Prophet.
The Ship of a Thousand years was said to be composed of "unknown and strange metal" and covered in a shielding of solid gold. The vessel was shaped like a disc and was four miles in diameter. 4000 departed in The Ship of a Thousand Years, drawn from all corners of the known world.
There are some scholars who interpret this story as a myth or legend designed to impart certain Neo-Pilgrim philosophies, but most Neo-Pilgrims regard the story as factual and expect The Ship of a Thousand Years to return within their lifetimes.
The phrase "Go on the Ship of a Thousand Years" is a common Neo-Pilgrim saying that can have two meanings, depending entirely on the tone of the speaker.
The first is a polite greeting or farewell. The Ship of a Thousand Years is a very holy Neo-Pilgrim idea, so the notion of entering the ship itself is like saying "May god be with you" or something.
The second, which is controversial among devout Neo-Pilgrims, can be meant as an insult, and is like saying something like "Why don't you go away and not come back for a thousand years!" This is a common insult among young Neo-Pilgrims, but is frowned upon by elders because being present on the ship is a high honor and the idea should not be used in a disparaging fashion.
