I'm taking myself out on a little date to see Hellboy 2 this Friday. :)

So, I have several good friends, several acquaintances, and a few members of my family- Any of whom I'm certain wouldn't mind checking this out with me. I mean, they all seem fairly excited for it themselves!
And part of me does want to share the love with all those people . . .
But, at the same time, I'm SO SO SO excited to see this. I don't want to have to interact with people in the process. I just want to bask. (BAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSK!)
So I just bought my ticket to go see it all by my lonesome!  It's reserved seating, so no lines! Also, it's a 21+ viewing. (I have no idea what makes that so special, but there you go.  )
Does anybody else ever get these urges to totally ditch everyone you know so you can REALLY enjoy something? (Of course, I'm totally up for seeing it 10 more times in theatre with all these people afterwards, ha ha.)

I thought you were flying out to NYC Thursday to see it with me at a private screening?
I also love escaping to the cinema alone.
Whenever I have a day off and my gf has to work I catch an early matinee and then sneak for a double and sometimes a triple feature.

I hate going to movies alone - I would prefer to watch in a huge group and then go out for drinks afterwards and bitch endlessly about the flaws.
