Really? That always struck me as more of a Darth Guy kind of fate. 
And aren't we all supposed to die in 2012?
Assuming I'm still alive, I would expect to still be married (with kids), still be teaching, and still living in the U.S. Go figure. I expect I will also still be here and cursing out GL's far inferior to the PT Episodes 7,8, & 9. When you said you had no plans for 7,8,9, George, you should have stuck with it! 
And might I add, it...warms?...my heart to see Rogue, Whitey and Guy still pretty much the same as they always were 
And Rogue, I think that would be the Cana-American Alliance, because we have way more oil waiting to be processed...water too for that matter. We'll dangle it like a bearclaw at a weight watchers meeting because we know you want it...

Amer-Canadian Confederacy sounds better. The name was designed to be fair to both parent states: Reference to the USA comes first but Canadian appears as a full and proper word.
Furthermore, fossil fuels were rendered obsolete in 2010 and were a non-issue when the Founding occurred in 2013.
