A mi me encantó Rayuela. La releo cada pocos años y cada vez es un libro diferente, posiblemente porque lo entiendo mejor. Simplemente fascinante. Sus relatos cortos son buenísimos. Te recomiendo la colección de El Perseguidor.
Mi madre solía leerme capítulos de Cien Años de Soledad cuando era pequeño y tambien ha acabado siendo uno de mis libros de cabecera. Encontrarás que en JCC es un libro que mucha gente conoce. 
Es cierto que tanto fantasía como ciencia ficción no son géneros que tengan mucho calado entre los escritores hispanohablantes. Puedo contarlos con los dedos de las manos.

Leí Cien Años de Soledad hace relativamente poco. Atrapante, me fascina la riqueza del lenguaje y la atmósfera que logra crear el Gabo, aunque no siempre concuerdo con su visión de ciertos temas.
¿Escuchaste alguna vez hablar de Liliana Bodoc? Es una escritora argentina contemporánea que ha incursionado con bastante éxito en la fantasía épica. Te recomiendo su trilogía de La Saga de los Confines.

Yo tampoco coincido muchas veces con él.
Nunca había oído hablar de ella, pero me la apunto. Hay una trilogía de ciencia ficción española muy buena que se llama Las Islas del Infierno; es poco conocida pero es fascinante. Muy recomendable.

Liliana Bodoc is an Argentine contemporary author who writes novels in epic fantasy genre. She has a wonderful trilogy of novels called "La Saga de los Confines" (Boundaries Saga). The three books are called Los Días del Venado (Days of the Deer), Los Días de la Sombra (Days of the Shadow) and Los Días del Fuego (Days of the Fire), but as far as I know they're not translated into English... yet.
