Here is a poor recreation of the incident though:
ophelia, my morning commute doesn't take me near where the deer are allowed to cross.

Sorry I missed yesterday. I have nothing to report for that day.
Today I saw a white minivan with wood-grain side panels where the back window had been covered with a white sheet of vinyl and nailed there.
I know there are laws against tinting windows, so I wonder how this applies?

Last week or so I saw a hitchhiker with a sign that said: "Bergen" -- which was on my route -- but when I came closer, he lowered the sign and walked away, as if he'd rather walk than step into my car.

The long dark winter depresses them a lot.
Then getting rejected by a deer? Deer are like the ****s of the forest. They'll sleep with anything with four legs.

The DNR tried putting Prozac releasing collars on them a few years back, but PETA protested because the collars were made from leather.

I don't know what more there is to tell about it.
There were no sidewalks, and now there are.
They poured cement into wooden molds and smoothed it out.
Today I drove a long long way.
I saw a sign that was promoting: BRUNETTE FOR CITY COUNCIL.
I thought: What a great advertising gimmick he could have there.
Don't vote for the dumb blond! Vote for the BRUNETTE!
EDIT: I also saw a rollover accident on the side of the highway. It had lots of firetrucks and police cars and ambulances. It was on the other side of the highway and traffic was backed up forever.
