1. Mississippi, 32.0 percent

5. West Virginia, 29.5
6. Arkansas, 28.7
7. South Carolina, 28.4

I lived in Texas for a few years when my dad was stationed at Ft. Sam Houston, but that was ages ago. I'm to see that Virginia isn't on the this list.

I was surprised IL didn't make the top 10. Not only do they have excellent really bad for you food here, but I see a lot of really large people around here. I know it is summertime and it is hot people but please if you are more than 100 lbs overweight put on more clothes. gack!
I am currently a fat-ass but I am working on it. It is taking awhile.

Although, to me, the really alarming part is that the least obese state, Colorado, still has 19% obesity. The best we can do is one in five? Geez.
