Not everywhere. Krispy Kreme spells it as 'Doughnut'.

lol. I remember the Krispy Kreme boom. Everyone just HAD to have them. Then everyone realized they're just DONUTS (yeah, thats right, go ahead, try and stop me) and now they're all barely staying in business.

don't the Simpsons spell them "donuts"? Because I have no idea where else I might have seen "donut" spelled out before the internet. And I've only known the "doughnut" spelling for maybe 2 years. So, you people really need to take better care of how things reach the old world

I use American spelling, but I guess I'd use British spelling if I lived in Europe (even though those extra u's annoy the hell out of me).
