Career Opportunities is indeed awesome. The horsey scene alone is worth the cost of the DVD.

LOL. When I was a teen Jennifer Connelly was one of Seventeen Magazine's regular models....along with the then unknown Whitney Houston, Willow Bay, Pamela Gidley, & Phoebe Cates.

I preferred her when she was the age I was when I first fancied her.

She's a beautiful woman and good actress, but the movie she stood out the most is still Once Upon a Time in America. She was great in "Requeim," but it's easy to be overhshadowed by Ellen Burstyen's shattering performance. On the other hand, she was a fresh rose in all of the ugliness in "America."

[homer simpson voice]mmmm....Jennifer Connelly...[/homer simpson voice]

She's so hot that my friends and I created what we call the Connelly Award. It was first established after seeing then-13 year old Jennifer Connelly starring in Labyrinth

It's slightly perv-ish, but we give the award to young girls who we predict will grow up to be total hotties. Recipiants of the Connelly Award include such lovelies as Kirsten Dunst (Interview with a Vampire), Eliza Dushku (True Lies), and Thora Birch (Clear & Present Danger and Patriot Games)

What about the Olsen twins? silly

EDIT: BTW, Natalie does NOT look like a kid anymore. She still did in TPM but now she's got the whole mature seductress look going on in most of AOTC.

Her mature look in AOTC has more to do with her costume and make up.

I think Natalie is the type of girl who will always look girlish. I cannot picture her looking womanly. Kind of like how Michael J Fox will always look boyish.

Well Natalie Portman goes without saying! Duh! tongue

Any who scoff at Natalie's "girlish" appearance should have a look at some of the AotC pictures of her in that tight white outfit that calls attention to her bountiful pirate treasure. (bonus No-Prize to whoever gets that reference)

Oh yeah, I'm of the opinion that Maxim, Stuff, FHM, and all of those "girlie magazines" all have timers prominately displayed that give a countdown to when the Olsen Twins turn 18. wink

Has anyone here seen Mulholland Falls? I just want to know if its worth seeing just for the jennifer nude scene.

BTW, I just saw Dark City. How idiotic. NO nude jennifer connelly scenes. And they show us Rufus Sewell naked instead.

R-Rated movie + Jennifer Connelly but no nude scene + Rufus Sewell nude scene = movie made by fools

After seeing Jennifer at the oscars, shes gone down quite a bit on my scale. She looks really ill. She has 10 lbs she needs to gain.
