	Pop = Popular, right? But for me, it's started to define a certain music tune. What I got out of the Green Day: Behind the Music was that they were their own punk. It's not a huge thing, though. 	I agree with what TIEace said - Pop, for me, has come to mean Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, etc. Terra sums up my feelings on the word pop right there. When I listen to early Beatles, I know it's pop because of much of the subject matter. You listen to their later stuff and you know that it's no longer pop music. Today, pop has definately come to be most greatly associated with Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys etc. Not bands like Green Day.
