	I need some advice from you guys. I seem to be having a problem with my best friend. We've been close friends for going on 10 years now, more than half of my life. It used to be that whenever she saw me I'd get a big kiss, and she seemed always to be smiling and happy around me. She was always happy, full of energy, just great to be around; she always managed to warm my heart even when I was feeling down. I've sometimes wondered what she gets out of this relationship, as she seems to give me so much more joy just by being around than I can imagine myself giving anyone. But something's changed, I don't know what. Something's different. I no longer get the kisses, the smiles; hell, she doesn't even wag her tail around me any more, and despite all my coaxing she won't even take a treat from my hand. 	I had a best friend who developed hip problems so she couldn't run and play like she used to. It hur her too much to play as she once did. 	How can you "patch up" a relationship when you don't even know what's wrong? You need a good talk with her. It doesn't have to be confrontational. Maybe you should call her and say you need to talk to her about a problem that you have (little does she know the problem is HER!). It could be that she's had a crush on you for a long time. And maybe she isn't getting the desired effect and now she's moving on with her life. But don't assume.
