imdb says Steven Spielberg will direct IJ4.
I wonder if he'll use the cinematographer he's used recently. So, IJ4 might have an AI or Minority Report feel to it. Cool.

And Spielberg's wife, Kate Capshaw, should be reprising her role from Temple of Doom.

I mean who will be Indiana? Harrison Ford is like 55 now?

I heard the title of the new Indy movie will be Indiana Jones and the Last Colostomy Bag.

But, seriously folks...

How is GL (or Spielberg, for that matter) going to have enough time to work on a new Indy flick? He's got Episode 3 to work on after all. Plus, Harrison Ford, as much as I love the guy, is too old to play Indy. I've always thought that Last Crusade was such an appropriate and fitting end to the Indy story and never saw the point of making a fourth one.

Get her out of there. Karen Allen should be there. Indiana and Marion were by far the best pairing.

Waaah! I want Marion.

How is GL (or Spielberg, for that matter) going to have enough time to work on a new Indy flick?

What was Lucas' involvement in the last 3? I thought he was just the producer, which means he says "sure, I'll finance a new Indy film". It doesn't mean it would actually take much of his personal time to develop - maybe just a number of his resources.

As for Spielberg, what else is he doing that would prevent him working on this film?

He's got Episode 3 to work on after all. Plus, Harrison Ford, as much as I love the guy, is too old to play Indy.

I don't believe that for a second. See Padme Bra's comments above.

I've always thought that Last Crusade was such an appropriate and fitting end to the Indy story and never saw the point of making a fourth one.

That's fine. No-one's forcing you to go see the fourth one.

Too bad M. Night Shamaylan isn't going to direct it. That was the original rumor.

If he did, maybe we'd find Indiana Jones waking up in his college class and us finding out he'd been dreaming for the past 3 movies!

laugh

Hey, I love the Indy movies. They're some of my favorites. I'd see the fourth one. But, my original point was that The Last Crusade was such a perfect end to the saga that another wasn't necessary.

Please! Did anyone actually watch the 2nd and 3rd movies? They were just short of parody! Awful movies. They should've just stuck wit the TV show, which was awful too, but you only had to sit through an hour at a time if you actually could watch it.
