Sort of. I have a few songs from thier Unplugged and they're great. The original recordings are a little obnoxious in my opinion.

They suck.
My cousin was given a Cure CD by a friend and we listened to it in the car and the first place it went when we got back was in the recycle bin. All their songs sound the same. I couldn't even stand going through one song.

I love The Cure. Sure beats the hell out of prog rock and Joe Satriani.
Robert's solos started me on an obsession with the Fender Bass VI.

The Cure rules!
Love them. One of my favorite bands ever.
One of the best Goth bands out their.
They're cool because their changing styles, yet still keeping in tune with their Goth roots.
They began as punk then got into dark and then into experimental rock/pop and then back into pure dark/goth.
My favorite album is Kiss me, Kiss me, Kiss me.

BYOB_Kenobi, i've been listening to The Cure since early '85ish... i know what you're talking about!
i met Robert Smith in Eugene OR in 1986, at about 3 a.m. after a concert - he gave me a black safety pin which i have kept to this day!
edit: date typo - bad!

Honestly, I havent heard much of their stuff, and I haven't really been blown away by what I have heard- The sole exception to that being "Burn" which I first heard on the soundtrack for "The Crow". I do love that song.
