Well Carousel, it's very rare that I remember my dreams anyway. But no, I don't think I've ever had a work-related nightmare, besides the typical "Oh crap, I'm at work and I have no clothes on" type of nightmare. Like I said, seeing these things isn't depressing so much as numbing or burdening, if that's a word. I mean, once you see a few dead people, the odds of your having a nice happy rest-of-the-day are pretty slim. It stays in your mind. It's not that I'm sad as I sit here and type this for you guys, it's just nice to know that I didn't imagine it all in my head. The other people I work with obviously do this stuff to, so there's no point in chit-chatting with them about it. It's just not useful. I think when you have a job where you're exposed to bad things, there are two ways to deal with it: you can either brush it off and just do your job, which in my case is just stand there and make sure my camera is focused and the exposure is right and try to not think about it, or you can go nuts emotionally. I'd rather not do that, and neither would my coworkers, so we all just nonchalantly push it aside and make jokes as if nothing has happened. Because if you emotionally invest yourself into every one of these stories that comes up, it will make you go crazy.

But it does kind of shoot the rest of the day straight to hell as far as having fun goes.

And Mr. Man, dust makes you sneeze. Sneezing stops your heart temporarily. You might want to vacuum. Or have a beer.

I know this is a bit morbid and disrespectful. But do you ever come across cases like in "clerks" in your profession, where someone has died in a really embarrasing position, like a heart-attack during sex? If so are you at liberty to tell us about them?

Well, I woke up. And am eating breakfast. And struggling to finish a biology report.

"I hoping somebody had some iced-cream"

I would have, seeing as how it was Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's, but the cold and rain kind of made me not want to have ice-cream.

Amazing.

I recited a soliloquie from Hamlet for a test, and got perfect, I was nervous as hell but it went ok. Other then that, I have driving lessons today. Ahh the joys of being a teenage girl. . . Grrr

Speling is good for you and god for me yetiguide. No swet.

Well, I'm glad somebody did something nice yesterday. I just go into work, and I'm betting I'll be doing a followup on this murder case. Hoo-Ray!

Oh, and whoever asked about the weird deaths, I don't remember anybody kicking the bucket in an odd way. About 2 years ago there was an old man who fell through the floor in his outhouse and laid there for a few days, but he lived and is doing fine.

Earlier this year somebody else did a story about a gay guy who doused his lover with gasoline and lit him up. Words fail me on that one.

I remember the story about that guy in the outhouse. His toilet fell through the ground into a cesspool, basically. He lived for three days that way.

I ate at Hooters today, and the waitress kept nudging me. She was pretty ugly. At least on the outside.

ah i think everyone had that kind of day today..............i know every single person at my school did

a few months ago, when spring was starting, everyone got along, everyone was getting together, and there were no problems, now everyone's had enough of each other and is fighting, and the couple's are all breaking up.............gee, i love high school.........i'm just lucky i'm not in all of that, i used to be, but it was all too immature, now i just do my own thing (mostly work) and avoid people who try to get me involved in that stuff.............neway, it's not quite a triple homicide, but it still sucks.................ne1 else?? plain

Well, uh, keep up the good work guys.

B'omarr, where do you live that you know about the outhouse man? Or maybe this type of thing happens everywhere.
