The question is if she got the $600M that Deep Throat grossed (let's round it down to say $500M net profit) instead of $0, would she have ended up protesting pornography?

One anti-porn do-gooder down...
...oh, uh, right. What a terrible tragedy. We will all mourn her. *sniff*

Ms. Lovelace came to speak at my law school once. It was a very sad scene. This woman had obviously been abused by men her whole life. But worse, this women was being exploited by much more educated people with agendas. Ms. Lovelace could hardly get in a word edgewise before she was interrupted by law professors seeking to speak for her. In fact, Ms. Lovelace was not anti-porn per se but more anti what it could do to women. As one who understands that porn can be exploitative but at the same time can't claim complete innocence, I wanted to hear her and not a lot of talking heads.
Anyhoo, this is merging over to a topic that is well represented on the Senate Floor so I'll shut up now.
