Over the past few days, there have been no less than 5 or 6 news alerts on the FoxNews website. In the months before that, there were maybe 2.
Just now we've gotten a train collision in southern California . . . with massive casualties predicted 
Whoever said that time exists so that everything doesn't happen at once might be right--but methinks time has some re-calibrating to do.

Not only for news.
Life does not know how to dose things for us. You are either so busy you are almost out of breath, or nothing is happening in your life and you are bored out of your mind, like me right now.

Everything important does not happen at once.
Episode I - 1999
Episode II - 2002
Episode III - 2005

I think the reason is that when something big happens in the news (9/11 tragedy) people suddenly get interested in the news. To try and keep these people interested the news channels and websites make more and more of these stories into 'alerts' so that people read them.
If 9/11 had not happened then a lot of these 'alerts' would go by as just normal news events. So I think that explains a lot of it.

To me, everything in life seems to come in waves. There are good ones and there are bad ones. That's why we should try to ride the good ones as long as we can. 
Did that makes sense? Nevermind....
