If you want to be a trekkie, why are you in the JEDI COUNCIL FORUMS?????
He's looking for information from knowledgable people here. I don't see any sign that says "check your knowledge at the door."

I have nothing against trekkies. I used to like it myself. But, why look about Star Trek stuff in a Star Wars forum?

It's a fair point, but there are people here who are knowledgable about both.

This is the community forum of a SW board. We talk about movies and series all the time in here. What's the difference?

Step One: Find your middle finger.
Step Two: Find your bumhole.
Step Three: Stick your middle finger up your bumhole.
It is accomplished.
That is all.
EDIT: Oh it's a joke, you trekker geeks!

I think what really makes a hardcore Trekkie are three things: speculate pointlessly, overanalyze, and nitpick.
There's actually quite a few SW people in the Film forums who would make great Trekkies.
Or try what was mentioned above

Hey STORM5,
...first of all I am a Star Wars fan to the heart, but I can respect Star Trek....
Hey, I only watch it, or two shows Voyager & Enterprise, because of the girls anyway....
Good Luck STORM5 on your search for Trekkie knowledge....

You must believe that First Contact is the best movie and The Next Gen is the best series. Also, you must dislike Voyager. These aren't matters of opinion

I like ALL Sci Fi/Fantasy and I refuse to compare Star Trek, Star Wars, and B5 to one another. They are three different visions, byt three different people of what might go on in Space either a long time ago, or in the future.
<off soapbox now>
The best Star Trek movie by far was Star Trek II, the Wrath of Khan. It had Kirk yelling things at hte top of his lungs, and Ricardo Montabon spouting off Shakespeare.
The best series is...well, hmm... I liked 'em all up until Voyager. Enterprise is OK. But if you really want to start watching, watch the reruns of TNG on TNN at 8pm and 11pm est. Or, for the original series, Sci Fi runs 'em at 6pm est.
But, I have to say, if I had an invention like the Holodeck...I'd never leave. That's it. I would - never - leave..

You ranked some of the Star Trek films as being worse than Insurrection?

You must always refer to Star Trek V as "Star Trek V: Shatner's Folly". Also there is nothing wrong with being a Trek geek and a Star Wars geek at the same time.

What do trekkies think of "Galaxy Quest" and "Trekkies"? I actually rate those two higher than some of the official ST movies.
