The Thin Red Line is an awesome film. So is A.I., Memento, and Gladiator. Maybe you guys just need a hug?

And any Star Trek film ever made.

Maybe a film with J-Lo and Chris Kattan* about two young lovers on the run from the mafia who go undercover as johva witnesses and try to convert an all white town by rapping to them.
and of course Chris Rock can have a cameo.
Oh, and someone will have to eat a cancerous body part, and every 15 minutes you should have a reference to breaking wind, sticking a sexual organ in food, or sex with an old person.

Actually, Out of Sight was a good Lopez film.
My dislikes that everyone else likes:
MASH--What the heck was so funny about this? Either twelve people are talking at once or they're mumbling. You need subtitles. Altman called it realism. Yeah, but realism isn't entertaining. That's why we go to the movies. 
Terms of Endearment--a sweeping epic of white trash. Couldn't find a single person to align with in this film, but neither was it dark enough to be a cautionary tale. Also, I was three scenes ahead of it the whole movie. No surprises at all.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind--Eeks! Sorry, I just don't care for it. It's fine but not the great accomplishment everyone claims.

MIB - good premise, crappy execution
Spiderman - unimaginative and boring.
Scream - Not scary
