That about sums it up. Every two years, someone from my school dies. He was an only child, he always seemed to be in a good mood at school and stuff... he just made varsity show choir... Amazing how right out of the blue life can pull a stupid on you.
Some birthday, huh?

Amazing, it's not really "mourning" to come here and say "I have such bad luck, this kid killed himself and ruined my birthday." That, and the subsequent responses that have all gone something like "Man, that's awful, I hope you have a happy birthday anyway" are all EXTREMELY disrespectful to the kid who committed suicide, and is completely wrongly directed sympathy.
A kid takes his own life, his family is likely shattered by it, and wadda u know happened to have it happen on his birthday. I'm not saying it's not a shame for him, but honestly, this seems alot like people who have September 11 birthdays whining that "those terrorists ruined my birthday for the rest of my life!"
It's simply disrespectful, in both cases. Mourn the dead, not the people who've had their parades slightly rained on.
