you don't need to tell me that, db... you're preaching to the choir! and i know what drug use did to them all.. but, sadly, it is true that rock-stardom comes with some pretty morbid baggage...
i met Kurdt and Krist before Nirvana was famous.. when they were just fun-loving people...
actually, this is making me kinda sad, so i'm gonna drop it..
edit: MB, his name is Van Conner, he's the Bassist for the band Screaming Trees. they had a couple videos on eMpTyV for a while.. they had a hit with "I Nearly Lost You".. it was on a soundtrack.. i can't think f it right now though... started with an 'S'...

The only famous person I have met was Lennox Lewis' trainer Emanuel Steward. It was when the UFC came to Detroit, Emanuel stepped out next to the seating area and my friend ran over for an autograph. I grabbed a map of Cobo Hall and got his sig on it and shook his hand.

I met Mike Eruzione (Captian of the 1980 US Olympic Hockey Team) in January. Then a month later he was lighting the 2002 Olympic Flame and I was jumping up and down telling anyone who would listen how I met him and that he was really cool.

I've met Huey Lewis, Ruth Warrick (from Citizen Kane) and Neil Gaiman. Gaiman is a class act.
My brother used to work nights at a major hotel in Boston and they used to get celebrities in there all the time. He got to see some...interesting sides to their personalities. He's got some funny stories.
