I'm seriously getting tired of all that "free your mind" crap. What a sad, psuedo-intellectual, unintentional existential parody. However, the true tragedy is that I know audiences just gobble it up.

The freeway scene should be amazing. The agent jumping onto the hood of the car and sending it flying is amazing.
Although I wonder: if the ghostly twin things are evil, why do they seem to be riding in Trinity's car?

one of the TWINS enters the caddie using his powers and gets in a fight with Morpheus.
The TWINS are EVIL! They love doing EVIL things for themselves and their boss.

Hoverships crawling with machineguns = Good.
Human Power Armor = Very Good.
Morpheous with a Katana and Machine Pistol = teh hot@!!@1!
Neo and 100 Agent Smiths = OMG LOLOLOLO!!!
I hope that was annoying and fanboy-ish enough.
And yes, I'm getting sick of that simplistic, crappy, trite, "free your mind" stuff too...
Almost as much as an all powerful force controlling everything.
Lightin up dude, it's going to be a fun movie.

What's wrong with the "free your mind" stuff anyway? It never bothered me. Moot complaint if I may say so. It's just part of the game.

Morpheus is the only one guilty of sad, psuedo-intellectual, existential parody. He really needs to lighten up.

I just rewatched The Matrix and there is one Question I have that I really hope Reloaded clears up- How in the blue hell do they actually get into the Matrix?? It has to be something to do with the phones(which kind of act as the bus for the matrix program letting things in and out) as in the subway Trinity wants to be sent back and Tank says she can't after the phone was destroyed.
Also does anyone know of an theories/answer to how the hell Neo was "ressurected" at the end after being shot like 10 times in the chest. Please no simple answer like he is the one.

They get in the matrix through the same basic means as they get in their training construct, through the plugs in their necks. When they need to get in the matrix, they use a "pirated signal" (Morpheus says something about that somewhere in the movie). They basically hack into the matrix.
As for neo being resurrected, unfortunately, it is a simple answer: he is the one... but more specifically, he is (as mentioned somewhere in Reloaded) an anomoly, almost a glitch in the matrix. Therefore, I'm assuming, the whole "your mind makes it real" rule doesn't necessarily apply to Neo.

I've always wondered how they got out of the Matrix. Why only some phones? Surely any would work.
And does that first phone, when Neo re-enters the Matrix for the first time, is it deliberatly placed? Sure looks it.

I think they lay their own phones around the Matrix for their own use. Like someone above said, only certain phones work. It has something to do with using the phones to "hack" in and out of the Matrix. Kind of clever, actually. Phones were the first thing people ever used to hack.

The issue is -- you can't accurately track a cell phone. You can get accurate within a couple of meters, but that's not good enough when you need an exact location. A landline can be traced to a specific point to extract the carrier signal...

I too have been re-watching The Matrix and cannot help but wonder: why didn't the machines just use cattle to power their world? Cattle produce more energy in their bodies than humans and they sure as heck wouldn't know to revolt. Please do not hand me that old "then there would be no movie" argument because that gets old real fast.
Second question: how does the Oracle avoid being detected by the machines? Obviously most people know where she is, even some kids. Is she even a part of The Matrix or exist in the real world?

Well humans revolt so you'd want to use them up to get rid of them.
But that idea doesn't work, because those humans are grown especially. But this makes more footsolders. If the Matrix grew cattle, it could just try it's best to knock out the remaining humans.
So, hmmmm....
I've read on these boards that the Oracle is part of the matrix, but I'm wondering if that's true or not.
