Buff, NY December SW Angry Birds at Build A Bear

We were speaking with the manager at Build A Bear, and he asked if we'd be available in December for the roll out of the STAR WARS Angry Birds plush characters. He didn't have an exact date yet, but he'll let us know as soon as a decision is made.
Start thinking about December.

NOVEMBER 21 Update:
The Birds are on the manifest, but even as of today the manager is unsure if they will arrive today. So, between our members' holiday schedules and the craziness of Black Friday weekend, we have tentatively settled upon following appearance schedule (provided the birds are actually in store):
Fri November 30th/Sat & Sun December 1-2.
They need to check their schedule of parties, but we'd like to cover:
a 2-hour block Friday evening (possibly 7-9)
1 or 2 2-hour blocks Saturday afternoon and evening (1-3 and 7-9)
1 2-hour block Sunday
This gives them time to get signs up promoting our appearance.
All this of course also depends upon number of people and availability.
Start thinking about it, and have a nice Thanksgiving.

IMPORTANT UPDATE MONDAY NOVEMBER 26:

The Birds have arrived in the store. Head office has decided that they only want us to appear ONE DAY, not the whole weekend.
They want us on SATURDAY DECEMBER 1. If we have enough interest we will try for 2 2-hour shifts, 1:00 PM - 3:00PM and 5:00PM - 7:00PM.

Sounds like it would be fun. Would this be a 'free' event, or would we receive a donation for Compass House?

 

It does sound like fun! Would they also have scenes from the game running on a monitor?
