The book, in my opinion, is not this bad.

Very sadly for the Old Republic, this said, there was at my library, next to it, the Starcraft II book ''Flashpoint''. I bought both, and Flashpoint was better written overall.

The encyclopedia said the key to the Empire's victory is at hand, what could it be?

I thought it was the Spear, but now I hope not.

I also doubt we will find out, no more story expansions

Maybe the black codex, the IA gave it to the Empire in canon?

    Maybeeeee

But I doubt it. All the tratiors who gave to the pubs would be upset.

Although that last choice with the Sith is stupid, every thing in it just screamed not to trust them, so yeah

Maybe Jadus could use it to do something.

They really need to rehabilitate the Imperial Intelligence. With Star Cabal's info and technology it would be stronger than ever.

Does Jadus die in any of the endings to 'his' act?

If not it would be great to see him walk in and declare intelligence reformed.

"I allow intelligence to die in order to force our enemies into the open. Now that the starcable are destoryed and SIS's jedi agent dead (even if you gave it to him). It is time for my return, together agent we shall user in a new epoch for the entire galaxy. Not even the Emperor can stop us."

No, the worst end he could get is being captured.

I think James Luceno fit the best, Stover is awesome, too.

Awesome as such a book would be, I must admit Stover and Luceno have bigger continuity fish to fry. :p

Star Wars: Dooku, I'm looking at you.

    He already did.

That's what 'his' act is all about. You either help him succeed or end up stopping him.

I think he is much better antagonist then the Emperor, but I would love to see Stover do a story on him, he sounded a bit 'Stover esq' in game any way. Although it would funny to see drew try to understand him.

I like Drew too, but his use of language is a bit simplistic. He is certainly better then Kevin J Anderson.

Darth Jadus is the most impressive (with Darth Marr and Baras) and interesting Sith lord. All this chaos and fear theory, the fact he's only using non-Sith into his pyramid, his power said to be second after the Emperor... I really want to see him again (without his mask). If in a book, of course I don't want Karyshyn, obtening Luceno is too much idealiastic, JJM would be perfect too but I doubt about it. He's a perfect antagonist.
The Dread Masters were too (except their new ugly stupid helmets), but they will die without doing much damage anyway.
As I said earlier, I want the Sith Empire to achieve great victories for once (Darth Decimus and his conquest of Corellia was good but he was defeated, same for Darth Lachris). The Old Republic Encyclopedia says that the Sith Empire victory is at end, I just hope these are not just words.

I didn't join him because I want to taste the challenge against a council member, but after I finished chapter 2 and 3 I really regret it, hope I will have another chance to join him.

I'm about to start Annihilation, but reading the posts on here, it seems as though many of you weren't too impressed.

How does it compare to other TOR novels; Revan, Deceived, Fatal Alliance....?

Also, I've had a very quick look around to see but could anyone tell me if there are more TOR novels planned for release in the next year or two? Just wondering as I think the EU novel timeline is rather slim in that time period and I would be particularly interested in further books as, thus far, only SW comics have detailed the era in any depth as far as I'm aware and I'm still yet to read any.
