Mara had returned early - very early - from her last run for Karrde. She found Luke sound asleep, his hair tousled, a soft smile tugging at his lips. As she entered their bedroom, a trickle of her Force aura made him stir.

"Mara?" He murmured, opening one clear blue eye.

"Go back to sleep." She whispered.

His eyes snapped open. "Are you joking? And miss one second of your return? When'd you get back?"

"Barely 15 minutes ago. I wanted it to be a surprise." She perched on the bed beside him.

He grinned, showing his dimples to perfection. "A wonderful one! I was dreaming about you."

Mara recalled the smile he'd been wearing before awakening. "You had better be!" She said with a mock scowl.

He grabbed her, tickled her sides, and kissed her breathless.

"Luke!" She said, "I haven't even showered yet!"

"Lover," Luke winked, "Neither have I!"

"Then I guess you can join me." Mara smirked, pretending to be doing just him a huge favor.

"If you insist." He hopped out of bed. Luke was definitely a morning person, and there was nothing like a promise of having fun with his lovely Mara in the saniisteam to really get him moving.
