Senate Packing it in

Alright people, I'm out of here!

The goings-on if daily life are getting too numerous for me to properly act as a responsible moderator whenever another crisis emerges. Last week, when I told my daughter "no, daddy needs to work now" -and yet I let myself get sucked into yet another debate about the location of the Senate - it dawned on me that I should re-prioritize.

I hope things turn out well for the Senate, and most of all I hope to still be able to talk to the people here in some capacity if they do shut it down. If the JCC gets its debate tag, I intend to visit it, and I hope everyone here will, too.

Meanwhile, story time!

SuperWatto - I understand perfectly. At the end of the day these boards are for recreation, right? Not to be taken too seriously and certainly not to overshadow family and work. I don't have good stories, just good memories.

Still waiting on mine, although Ramza keeps assuring me the RPF's balance has built up enough that they'll finally get round to passing on all my royalties for the FAQs I put together over there.

 

Maybe we can repurpose this forum to give it a new lease on life. We'll appoint a new mod every week, who resigns the next week, and we fill the forum up with just hello and goodbye threads. Everyone can get a check!

 

Yeah we can write a song using the thread titles as lyrics. So far we have. "Moving on, packing it in". Soon we will have a complete verse. Sounds vaguely Bon Jovi-ish.
