I have 1000+ hours on 3 and NV individually
What would you like to see in the next one?
I would love to have a sprint feature or maybe make power armor not so lackluster.

 

I'd like to see a return to isometric graphics and turn-based combat, mostly just to spite newcomers who haven't gone back and played the first three two.

 

That would kill the series and I think you know this. XD

 

I'm... not seeing the problem with that result. But I guess I'll just settle for Wasteland 2.

 

At this point, almost anything. It's been too damn long since NV.
Other than that, different radio stations would be pretty cool. I hate hearing the same 2 songs over and over again.

I'm actually fine with more FPS-y Fallout if they can keep it to New Vegas' standard of interesting characterization and plot and such, it conforms a lot more to my tendency to be impatient these days. I just wish more folks would go back and play the old stuff - it's dirt cheap on Steam.

 

I've been meaning to play the older Fallouts one of these days.

That being said, I really want them to get around to making 4 one of these days. NV, buggy as it was, was certainly a step in the right direction. Continue that quality, if not improved, and I'll be a happy camper.

 

I'll admit what the first two fallout games had over the the new ones were definitely the bosses and deeper more in-depth lore.

 

I'm a huge fan of Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas. Probably my favorite RPG series of all time. Fallout 3 felt more like an Elder Scrolls game than a Fallout game IMO.
It was fun, especially with mod support, but lacked all the interesting factions, fascinating lore, and excellent characterization that made me love the Black Isle/Obsidian Fallout games.

And the ability to kick annoying little kids in the privates. Thank the gods for PC mods.

 

Fallout 1 and 2 are better than 3 and NV, fact. Though NV is damned good too...

 

I think Fallout 3 and New Vegas are amazing games. New Vegas was my introduction to the series, but man Fallout 1 and 2 are excellent games as well. I got Tactics as well but haven't touched it yet, I haven't even finished any of the games yet...I get too lost in the world.

 

I don't think you DAMNED KIDS OF TODAY appreciate just how annoying Sulik with an SMG could be. You have no frame of reference.

 

LoL. I think I limited Sulik to just using sledgehammers just to avoid getting murdered by his crazy firing. Marcus is an even worse shot though. I've died too many times because Marcus decided to shoot through me with his mini gun. I swear the only NPC you can recruit in Fallout 2 with any kind of aiming skills at all was Cassidy.

 

I remember having his daughter upgrade my .44 Magnum, so I could fire twice and get a 1pt reload.

 

I would like to see you be able to play as a ghoul in 4.

 

I never played FO1 or 2 but I really enjoyed 3 and NV. I hope we get news of Beth making 4 soon. I'd love to get back into the FO universe for another romp.

Time until we're all disappointed that it's a Fallout MMO: less than one day.

 

My money is still on Boston but we will see.
