I know every word to this. Did you know Weird Al (re)wrote this based only off of spoilers and didn't see the actual movie until recently?

 

He actually paid money to see the movie before it was out so he could write the parody.

Weird Al also has Midichlorian Rhapsody from Bohemian Rhapsody. It's funny.

 

I love that song. In my opinion, the music video is honestly alot better than the actual movie. One of the two best things to come from THE PHANTOM MENACE, as far as I’m concerned (the other is that N64 podracer game).

This was the first song I think I ever heard by Weird Al. This premiered on Radio Disney the summer of 99, when I was not yet 15 and still living in Dallas. We were in my dad's volvo, me and my sister and this song came on and I don't think I had seen Dad laughing so hard while singing along. We bought the Weird Al album that afternoon.

 

We escaped from that gas

We took a bongo from the scene...
