Speculation Let's guess the title of Episode VIII!

So it's fine for the NSA section to know the title of Ep VII, The Force Awakens. We might as well start placing bets on Ep VIII. Hel, IX if you want too I guess

on a more serious note, I think the VIII title will be less vague than "The Force Awakens"
How about Rise of the....... Assassins?

 

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see a "Rise of The ____" at some point. I remember a common theory that Ep III's title would be like, "Rise of the Empire" or "Rise of the Dark Side" or something like that

 

I definitely think EpVIII will be called "Rise of the" something. The question is what. A couple of suggestions:

Rise of the Pirates
Rise of the Jawas
Rise of the Invaders
Rise of the Slaves
Rise of the Robots

Hey, how about Rise of the Droids? After the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War, the Droid War! Finally, true AI is born and Star Wars goes Terminator

Or, just follow up TFA with Rise of the Force

I'm going with the aggression angle for the middle film so my three choices are...

One title I thought of that I think sounds really neat is:

Star Wars, Episode VIII: Rise of the Defenders

Who the Defenders would be, I don't know. Perhaps Defenders of the Force?
Anyway, I find it really catchy and wouldn't mind it in the least.
And yes, I looked it up on Google and know it's the title of an online tower defense game.

Could Ep IX perhaps be something like "Rebirth of the ____"
Would match with the Rot_ formula for the third episode of each trilogy so far, and could refer to one of the religious/spiritual viewpoints in SW

Or 'Episode VIII: People realize that "Awakens" is a much more metaphorical term than "Wakes Up" would have been.'

 

Seagoat I actually heard some rumor that episode IX would be called "Victory of the Force", which I think would be a really cool title for a concluding episode. However, I don't think it will happen as every title so far has had a different "noun":

Hope
Empire
Jedi

Hey- just noticed that the first film of each trilogy has a three-word title, and that the second and third episodes have four letters.

 

Not just the same number of words
All three first eps of each trilogy have a vague metaphor describing the general tone of the trilogy
The second eps have a statement about an aggression by the dominant military force
The third eps have a statement about one aspect of the Force making some kind of movement

I'm hoping that the pattern will be held up in Eps VIII and IX

Anyway, yeah I doubt they'll reuse any nouns, otherwise it would be just plain redundant

Episode VIII: The Force Takes a Shower
Episode IX: The Force Leaves For Work

I feel I'd be in a better position to guess Episode VIII's title after seeing Episode VII.

Granted, who would expect clones in 2001, but still.
