I don't know who had the idea, but I'm pretty sure she has an awesome meat grinder on the kitchen table. Too bad the sock is a pain in the rear-end. LITERALLY.

I'm a little hesitant to post my OCs there.

Well, may help. See, part of why is because my two main OCs' original story is truncated... Plus, my partner has given me express and longstanding permission to write any character we created together for Shades of Grey however I feel because he knows how vital writing from heart is for Cushy. Some know of the earlier takes on Toru and Thimen and possibly some new may meet them now.

 

My old OCs are from a truncated story, and I haven't posted them or really done anything with them since that story.

 

Phew! It took me forever to finish this, but I finished my entry for the Winter Challenge. I forgot not to link it here, so it's now being PM'ed. Sorry!

 

Didn't the rules say that we're not allowed to link our entries, but PM them to the sock instead? Or did I get it completely and absolutely wrong (again)?

Which is precisely why the rules should always be in the OP, I think. Also, why sorry? I wasn't even sure if I'm right.

 

Come to think of it, I need to go check the specifics. Ewok Poet's right. Having it in the first post is a good idea.

 

I took a look, and the rules are in the second post. I just wasn't thinking when I posted.

 

But there is another set of rules somewhere about three weeks ago.

Okay, here's the new section that I added to the first post, in keeping with what I understand of the new policy:

Generally speaking, I think it's probably still best and easiest if you send your entries to the sock -- the linking allowed is intended for giving an example purposes. Hope that helps!

 

Winter Challenge Reminder

We've had some busy writers here. For memory's sake, the original prompts are included with the entries. There were two entries in the non-competition challenge, which are listed after the Winter Challenge.

Note: Though I am posting this late at night, I'm aware that with time zones some of you may still be typing away at your entries. Anything sent after this but on January 31st wherever you are, will be added to this post as soon as it's received.

Meh, I had fallen asleep. The story was not complete, I'll save it for some other occasion. Now on to reading and voting.

Also, didn't Raissa's story include both challenges as well...or was it too long for the second challenge?
