Artist Raissa's Art: My Little Star Wars

This is a project that started as an extremely wild hare: combining Star Wars and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. I just started with the idea for Twi'lek Sparkle, and the next thing I know, I'm trying to draw all of the Mane Six as SW characters. It's been crazy fun for me, because my 7 year-old daughter is obsessed with EG. She gave it the name "My Little Star Wars: Friendship Is Galactic."

Right now, I've only got rough sketches. I haven't done much artwork in the past 15 years, so I feel like I'm having to relearn a lot of what I used to know...Plus getting used to the proportions of the EG characters and translate them to Wookiees and Ithorians .

Ewok Poet Thanks! Yes, I'd like to get them all colored in. I've almost got Fluttershy-thorian colored, just working on the details of her eyes.

That's quite a project to undertake. Drawing is like a muscle that needs regular exercise but am glad to hear you are getting back into the swing of things again. They are turning out quite nicely.

These are really cute and fun! I'm thinking of printing them out as postcards to decorate my niece's room. She's only 7 weeks old, but hey, you have to start the propaganda early

I'm working on adding some shading to the drawings; it's taking a little practice to get used to the airbrush tool in my graphics program. Once I get them shaded, I plan to add the characters' elements of harmony (loyalty, honesty, kindness, generosity, laughter and magic-- or should that be the Force?) written in Aurebesh along side them.

Apparently, I have delusions of grandeur.....

Question regarding Rarité: is she a human that follow Equestria Girls rules for skin colour; an albino; a nagai or some other white skinned human-like species/race?
