Saga After Vader & Palps, who is the third biggest villain?

That's right - unless you'd like to take a break from the boards.

 

I think Tarkin, because of the destruction of Alderaan.

 

I'm torn between Tarkin and Dooku...

 

Tarkin.

 

Tie between Tarkin and Dooku I would say. Those characters both had a huge impact on the Saga.

 

It's a matter of opinion ...really !

(Dooku,Maul,Tarkin,Vader,even Nute Gunray)

Hmm - wouldn't these candidates have also done nicely:

1.) THE YUUZHAN-VONG!
2.) A'Sharad Hett - afterall the One Sith Krayt Empire ...
3.) Darth Caedus ...

Woops - Sorry - I'm still getting me head around the threads - only joined last week - poor excuse BUT I apologize if I'm in the wrong posts ... but if that's the case then ... well next to the Idiot Separatist Puppets (well perhaps not Wat Tambor compared to most of them) BUT ... perhaps surprisingly General Grievious?! Given he may be seen as a coward by some BUT a coward who keeps coming back again and again and again and as long as he has time and plans - he can be a thorn to one's side ... and considering he's a veteran of the Huk/Yam'rii wars and the Clone Wars ...

 

Definitely Tarkin

 

Dooku, he was the leader of the Confederacy.

 

Has Mother Talzin been mentioned? She wouldn't be my pick but she did cause a whole lot of problems for good and evil.

 

Dooku would be my third pick, followed by Tarkin.

 

Agreed. Both are very important secondary villains.

 

Tarkin. It was on his orders that Alderaan was destroyed, after all. In fact, in the old EU, the Death Star was kinda Tarkins baby.

 

And in the newcanon, the project is handed over to him to see to completion, in the Tarkin novel.

 

Dooku just by screentime, maul got one movie and a few episodes of tcw, tarkin got one movie,one canon book,and one cameo in Rots as a bad guy in tcw his is a techically a good guy. Dooku got 1 movie a the primary antagonist, one movie as disposable henchmen and 5 seasons of primary antagonist in tcw.

Between Dooku and Tarkin.

 

Plotwise the biggest villains after Palpy and Vader are definitely Dooku and Tarkin.

 

Comes down to Dooku vs. Tarkin.

I get a strong impression that Dooku is portrayed as more evil and ruthless in TCW. So, TCW Dooku would win.

Just counting the movies though, Tarkin should win. Although Dooku accomplished more (spearheading the CIS), Tarkin seemed more evil; he destroyed Alderaan, breaking his word, just because it would be an effective demonstration.

 

I'll say either Tarkin or Jabba.

Pretty much my thoughts.
Based on popularity Maul might be third, but he and Dooku were simply pawns of the Emperor. I suppose you could say the same about Tarkin to some extent, but I always felt he had a lot more independence in his actions from Palpy.

 

How did he break his word? It was Leia that lied.
