If you need me to, I can send it again. :) I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll do with it. (And that goes for al others who have received poems! And there are even a few more left if anyone wants...)

Don't bother, I found it. And I'm, uh, not really sure what to do with it. :p

But then, also unsure where to take the characters, when I do get the chance.

Let them take you where they want to go to. Or, since you're at a hotel, go to the cafeteria or whatever they have, look at people. Get inspired. Incredible things may happen. :)

    Interesting.

Although patrons in an eatery have no bearing on whether Baille should stick with the Twi'lek or jump to lightspeed in the opposite direction, you have been helpful - a direction has occurred to me.

    Thank you.

That so totally belongs in the YKYAFFWW thread... :p

An extra 2632 ready-to-post words for me, for a total of 7783. I'm probably spending too much time editing my stuff instead of writing by the kilometre on this word race, but this is stuff that I'm posting in the near future so it has to be reasonably clean before I move on to the next part. Plus, it's a murder mystery, so every detail matters [face_chicken]

Also, someone please come up with an autocorrect fail for jcgoble3. That time the results were hilarious.

If it's not one thing, it's another.

Internet moderately stable, but the hotel is suffering frequent power outages since last night, courtesy of the Jamaican Power Service. Shout out to JPS. =D=

I've been copying parts of my work from Word to the Boards on a piecemeal basis, so I should be able to provide a word count, but it might be what I managed to salvage, rather than what I could have done.

On 1,161 words, after the last outage, today. Total = 4,432

I'm stopping because after five+ outages, I don't know how much of my purchased 150 minutes is left, and cannot really guage it. Don't want to lose text and the ability to word count.

    104 words.

[Though I may perhaps edit this post with more words.]

[That depends on whether or not I have to go rescue my cat from the fish guts thrown out by the inhabitants of a certain nearby weekend cabin.]

Rewrote a chapter almost completely, subtracted its old length from its new length...anyway, 9514.

10022 with corrections/suggestions applied and the footnote.

Now I am curious to know what precisely you're thanking me for. I assume it's something useful, but I don't get it.

At this point, I will be the kriffslider who asks you for a PDF to bulk-read.

    List has been updated.

By writing just a few hundred here and there on study breaks, I managed to get up to 5783! Which also included a diary entry, which is nice because I kinda want to get that done.

By myself, I did not know what to do, but seeing that you had offered a suggestion, halfway through my response, an idea occurred to me. So while your suggestion was not helpful, that you were kind enough to respond, was...yeah, I don't get it either.

So, it occurred to me to drop Baille into Christophsis, which I remembered as an off-limits planet. A lot of trudging through a jungle after crashlanding, before getting captured, however, Wookiepedia did not support the version of the planet and society that I had been thinking about overnight, so research took up a lot of time.

Only 637 words done. Along with the earlier 4432, we have 5,069.

So only 272 words this time, but that includes the edit on my first post for the Raissa/Doran sequel :D Thanks to the progress I've made in the Word Race, I finally started posting on a story that's been lurking in the back of my my brain for over 10 years! See, Word Race changes lives!!! (....or something. Anyway, [face_dancing])
