I wouldn't go so far as that. Will it reveal the whole plot, like the prequel toys did? No. But I think we will learn some new info.

THE LEAKS ARE COMING

 

I guess you don't, since this is pretty much exactly what they did in the '90s with SW Micro Machines. Sometimes it was a vehicle that opens up into a planet or station, other times it was a character head or helmet that'd do that. The idea is you have a ship, case, etc that opens into a playset. You must have missed out on a LOT in the '90s.

 

Stuff is starting to leak but nothing we haven't really seen before. That may change, but I really wonder if this first and only wave till Christmas will have any big reveals.

 

That was an awesome time to be a kid, old enough to catch the tail end of the Return of the Jedi push, young enough to revel in all those awesome playlets that came out after the long Star Wars absence.

As for those who point out what a big deal it is that something got out early, it really isn't. Sure it breaks the big merch push etc etc etc but a bit of perspective is in need. It's a toy that came out a few weeks early, it's not that important in the grand scheme of things.

For some reason it reminds me of the hall Poe is being escorted through in the BTS reel, though I havent watched it in a while and could be way off. Interior of the drop ship would be cool.

Who in 2015 has a mobile device that produces such awful photos? (and this is coming from someone that didn't own a cell phone until smart phones existed so I can smell my own...)

 

I have the strongest feeling that it will be the same on Force Friday. A bunch of stuff that does not tell us much more than we already know.

I agree and always have agreed. At first I had wondered whether they would have much TFA stuff at all. I know they will, but it will probably be all sorts of weird stuff and nothing related to the plot.

Leads me to believe that people won't know what the heck to even buy!
