Wow, how did I not notice that?!? How did you?!? Eagle eyes!

 

Awesome. I'm glad I was not imagining it. AOTC is my fav prequel and this is another reason why. I look for "new" things.

• In RotS, when Anakin arrives on Mustafar, you can see the native Mustafarians standing up and watching Anakin pass by.
• In RotS, when Yoda, Bail, and Obi-Wan are deciding what to do with the twins, Leia's theme can be heard when Bail offers to adopt her, and then when Obi-Wan volunteers to watch over Luke, the Force theme can be heard.
• In RotS Anakin urges patience when he, Obi-Wan, and Palpatine are stuck in the ray shields, but when he's advised patience by Obi-Wan the last time they meet as friends, he doesn't heed the advice.
• In RotS, when Anakin and Obi-Wan are dueling, Anakin leaps onto Obi-Wan's platform and lands on the edge, and he balances for a split second, spinning his arms out to prevent falling before returning to the duel.

 

Tough one. But here is my top 3 from ROTS



1. Anakin: “ We lost something”
Obi Wan: “Not to worry, we are still flying half a ship!”


2. Anakin: "This is when the fun begins"


3. ANAKIN: What was that all about?
OBI-WAN: Well, Artoo has been . . .
ANAKIN: No loose wire jokes .
OBI-WAN: Did I say anything?
ANAKIN: He's trying!
OBI-WAN: I didn't say anything!

A mother calls out to her son. Anakin hears her voice deep inside. The Force is strong with Him.

A father calls out to his son. Luke hears his voice deep inside. The Force is strong with him.

Maximum troll mode. It's almost as if he's had experience trolling...

 

My favorite small moment is at the end of the Episode I celebration where they are all smiling.

 

The way Dooku taunts Obi-Wan that entire duel is brilliant. Obi-Wan shows Dooku his hand when he screams at Anakin not to attack. From the moment Anakin is paralysed, Dooku knows Obi-Wan is not up to it by himself. I just love the way he says "surely you can do better."

 

I agree, I thought that was an awesome touch

Anakin thinking of using his Force skills and enjoys a little play...before..."It's not fair!" (and it's his father figure Obi Wan who won't let him "move on".)





Luke thinking of flying and enjoys playing with his Skyhopper,... before he says "It's just isn't fair!" (And it's his father figure uncle Owen who won't let him move on.)

I think Christopher Lee filmed that with relish.

 

i thought i was the only one who thought that "3" was funny in the opening segment of ROTS. I enjoyed that dialogue and it added some life to Obi-Wan and Anakin's friendship

 

I love the music in TPM when Qui-Gon,Obi-Wan, and Jar Jar enter Gunga City and I love the Kamino song also

 

is it just me, or does Palpatine give Obi-wan a little sneer as if to say "ha ha not" after Obi delivers the line "Sith Lords are our speciality"

if so, love it!

McDiarmid owns in that movie.

 

When this movie first came out, people on IMDB who were determined to hate it, said that Anakin was putting Obi-Wan in danger by flirting with girls, or that he was abusing the Force by...Forcing women to notice him. I wish I'd saved screenshots from those days, those people were utterly ridiculous. They were finding fault even where there was none.

 

Anakin's "That's---that's wonderful...." when Padme tells him she's pregnant.

So much subtextual shock, confusion, joy and uncertainty in that one moment. Very nicely played by Hayden.

 

I agree. It's a good example of his talent, which people either overlook or deride.

 

"The council is asking you" is such a great line delivery from McGregor.

 

Lots of great replies here.

 

I like the giant waterfall plain on Naboo during AOTC. This would be a great place for a villa.

 

I love the night scene on the veranda with the fountain softly gushing...not a soul there, just a quiet, serene place (I believe it's right before Anakin confesses his fears for Padme and the 'baby').

 

And then Yoda walks in the room and Dooku finds himself in Obi-Wan's shoes

 

The intensity of Obi Wan's frenetic plea left to no avail is palpable. Ewan must be given props for making it look astounding real.

No Anakin, NO NO!



No wait Luke! It's too dangerous!


Heat of the moment stuff from father and then son, their recklessness is daunting. Poor Obi Wan.

George, trust me. It's hard to freeze the scenes the way I want them to. But that's my gift to you.
