I saw the video and it certainly looked bad. As someone else put it: "After tearing his ACL, MCL and meniscus, Seth Rollins was still able to powerbomb a 320 lb man."

The show must go on, indeed...

EDIT: Holy crap, I just watched the full video and after even that, he still performed a move where you land on your knees... [face_plain]

Hi guys - so I'm going to an event tomorrow where Timothy Zahn, Michael Stackpole, and John Ostrander will be speaking. Afterwards there is a party where I will get to meet them. Does anyone have any questions for them that I could ask for you?

I don't have any questions, but do tell them "thank you" for me.

    How many souls do I have to have ready to sell to write a Star Wars novel at some point? I've got three so far. One is mine, but I'm not telling how I acquired the other two. 8-}

But in all seriousness - if this is the type of question to ask - what is the best method to continue growing as a writer? Practice is a general term, but I guess I'm wondering what they found most helpful.

If not that type of question, just tell them they're all über talented and awesome. :)

It always amazes me when athletes (and however you feel about WWE, they're certainly that) manage to go above and beyond and tough through illness and injuries. Steve Prefontaine setting an NCAA record on torn foot stitches, Curt Schilling's "bloody sock" win in the 2004 ALCS, Jordan's flu game, Kerri Strug's vault landing in the '96 Summer Olympics...

Maybe whether or not they think they'll have a role in SW going forward? And I'd be curious if Zahn sees any place for old favorites like Mara and Thrawn in the new canon.

I believe it was Madusa who said (while she, Sting and the late Roddy Piper went to town on Bill Maher for calling it a joke) that as wrestlers they were simultaneously actors, athletes and stunt performers.

That sounds like a super opportunity! If any of them have already answered this officially elsewhere, or if this is too much of a long shot, feel free to shoot this down, but—I guess I'd be curious to know their basic attitude toward fan fiction in general, what experience (if any) they've had with it themselves in their own careers as readers or as writers, that kind of thing. :)

So, a little earlier, I decided on a whim to lurk on GTS (Global Trade Station) to see if I could make a few trades and get some Pokemon that I want. I only borrowed a Yveltal for Dex info and I decided to see if I could get one to play with in Amie. I saw the shiny version (which is a classy white bacon bird), but couldn't make any trades. So, I left GTS and thought, "you know what would be cool? If I got a shiny Yveltal through Wonder Trade..."

Made about five Wonder Trades. Got a shiny Yveltal named EminemRapGod.

I predicted my own Wonder Trade luck.

Apparently that idle wish for a shiny Yveltal was quite powerful as I just got a second shiny Yveltal.

I'm jealous divapilot - Enjoy it!

She's doing well, in a little bit of pain from her surgery, but not allergic to new new pain medication they gave her, so that's an improvement! Thanks for asking! [:D]

I found my first 20 posts!

You newbies never had to deal with the annoyance of not being able to send PMs until you had 20 posts, and having to wait 60 seconds between posts when doing so. Nowadays, it's only 30 seconds between posts, which is far less annoying, and there's no longer any minimum number of posts to send PMs.

And, Gamiel can you make all those images into links? Mobile viewing has slowed to a crawl and I have serious typing lag.
