Loved Sonic and Mario on Mega Drive and SNES as well as lots of other games from that era and the present, but if forced to choose one, Final Fantasy VII

The game I've played through most often would be Ocarina of Time.

Halo was probably the first game that really blew my mind, and the one I've played often over the years. I'll go with Halo.

Could have easly picked JEDI KNIGHT: Jedi Outast, KOTOR, Mortal Kombat 2, Oblivion, or any of the Arkham games.

For sheer amount of hours played it would be a three-way tie between Battlefront 2, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. But the excellent modding community extended the lifespan of those games for me tremendously.

Big fan of the original Halo: Combat Evolved, as well as Assassin's Creed II. And Lego Racers. Lego Racers was great.

Wow! I used to play this game all the time back in the day. Haven't thought about it in a long time.

It was Jade Empire for about 7 years, but now it is Mass Effect. Sorry, Ender Sai, I know officially that is 3 games, but since it all connects, I am counting it as one.

Bioshock Infinite, as it creates its own unique and interesting world and has a pretty good story (as opposed to the "you killed my father/son/brother/wife so now I'm going to kill yoooouuuu!!!" story line found in the majority of video games)

Stylistically I really enjoyed it but it's Bioshock that still does it for me with the subdued cyberpunk setting and, in my opinion, more suspenseful story. But Infinite was very pretty.

Mass Effect 1 - Really opened my eyes up to what scope a game could take on. The first time I opened the Galaxy map I was in total awe! So many beautiful uncharted worlds to explore and adventures to go on with my little 3-strong crew. Also I gelled with it's style of sci-fi.

It's the only game I've immediately replayed after finishing.

    Also love:
Braid (can't wait to play The Witness)
    Splinter Cell 1-4
    Dishonored
The Walking Dead - showed me you don't need complex "gameplay" (button input) to be engaging - story, characters and player choice goes a long way by itself. Also it's use of fixed camera angles (rather than player controlled) gives it a sense of direction that hardly any other games even attempt.
