Arena JCC Fantasy Baseball League/Discussion

Anyone want to join? I have currently 2 of 12 players needed.
I'm starting this early so there's more chances for players......
I'm not doing the draft until it's almost time for the season to start, to avoid drafting injured players before they're injured in preseason/Spring training.

I think we normally do a league here, so might want to hang tight with the regulars and get in that one instead of vice versa...

The original post needs to be updated, the draft is scheduled for March 31 at 8:00 pm. Though that could be changed.
Could a mod edit that?

 

Nah, just adjusting a couple of rules we've found to have issues in the past:

1) Unlimited transactions -- I usually recommend a cap so we don't totally abuse that system.
2) Scoring -- I usually recommend replacing AVG with OBP and HR with SLG, as that tends to even things out and make more players valuable, to give greater valuation.

Those are usually only the two I recommend!

 

I see the OBP one, I can change that. Though I don't think I'll do SLG. I like HRs too much, I guess.
Edit: we could have all four, technically, SLG, HR, OBP, and BA. How about that?

 

OBP and AVG are counter-productive -- you count AVG twice in that way, sort of the same with HR / SLG (it double-counts HRs making certain people much more valuable).

Again, it's your league so I'll do whatever.
